Terms of Service

These terms cover using Voltti, the app for Mac and Windows, and Voltti Pro, its paid subscription. By installing Voltti or subscribing to Pro, you agree to them.

The service

Voltti is an app that lives in your Mac menu bar or Windows system tray, automatically tracks how you spend time on your computer, and shows it back to you as a heatmap and daily/weekly reports. Core tracking works fully offline and requires no account. The opt-in leaderboard, friends and one battle at a time are free. Voltti Pro is an optional paid plan that adds the full heatmap history, more battles, focus tools, the weekly Full Report email and other extras.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials (password, or the Google account you signed in with) secure, and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide an accurate email address, since it's how we reach you about your account or subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

Voltti Pro is billed monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Paystack or Polar, depending on your region.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time; you'll keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
If a renewal payment fails, we give you a 3-day grace period before Pro features turn off, so a temporary card issue doesn't cut you off immediately.
Fees are handled entirely by our payment processors; we don't store your card details.

The leaderboard

Joining the leaderboard is optional and shares only your display name and total tracked time with other participants, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't use it to impersonate someone else or post a display name that's abusive, misleading, or infringes someone else's identity, we can remove you from the leaderboard if you do.

Acceptable use

Don't use Voltti to violate the law, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our servers, or interfere with other users' access to the service.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Voltti is provided "as is." We work to keep tracking accurate and the service available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Voltti.

Termination

You can stop using Voltti and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
